Terms and conditions

 It will be deemed that you to have accepted these terms upon purchasing goods from The Little Hanger PTY LTD.

 Any references in these Terms to “we” “our” or “us” is a reference to The Little Hanger and any references in these Terms to “you” or “your” is a reference to the Customer.

 The Little Hanger is a unique Rent-A-Rack, Pre-Loved, second-hand children’s fashion and gift store. We provide a convenient platform for people to recycle their high-quality garments, earn money, find a beautiful selection of gifts and be able to contribute to global sustainability efforts.

Before committing to renting a rack, we encourage you to carefully review our terms and conditions. 

A rack can be booked by contacting The Little Hanger by phone 0413323509, visiting our website www.thelittlehanger.com.au or visiting us at our store in Brighton, SA.

When making a booking, We require you to sign you up to our online booking system 'Zellr'. This is where you are able to make your price tags, check your booking, keep an eye on your already sold items and update your personal information.

A 100% deposit is required on all rack rental bookings. In the case you need to reschedule your booking, If doing so before 24hrs of the rental date, 100% of your booking deposit will be carried over. The 100% deposit is non-refundable due to change-of-mind or cancellation.

While the team at The Little Hanger endeavours to deter theft, it's important to note that we do not assume responsibility for any stolen or damaged items. Any witnessed cases of theft in store will be reported to police. We take no responsibility for the damage of your items in the case of a fire, water damage, burglary, vandalism or any other factor undependable on us.  We maintain a strict policy against selling stolen, fraudulent, dirty, or explicit items. Additionally, please be mindful of our no return or exchange policy and ensure that all items are thoroughly inspected for faults before entry into our store and before purchasing.

At The Little Hanger we do our very best to keep your items safe, but in the case an item of yours is not found, we are not responsible and unfortunately can not compensate your lost item. We provide security tags for you to use free of charge. Security tags will give better protection, however, even with security tags the safety is not 100%. Please do not bring anything for sale that is too valuable for you to lose!

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges for change of mind purchases.

To ensure the best quality, all garments must be freshly washed and checked for faults before being brought in for sale. Faults include, but not limited to, visible wear and tear, holes or tears, damaged zips or buttons and stains. Items not fit for sale or with faults not identified on the tag will be taken off sale rack for you to collect on the last day of your rack rental.

The Little Hanger will advise that rental booking customers price their items with a mindset of “What would I pay for this item if I was to find it at The Little Hanger”. All items on racks must be priced and tagged. Anything that is not tagged will not be able to be sold. When making tags, it is important to write a good description of the item on the price tag (brand, size and colour). For example: "Country Road Blue onesie size 00”. Please add your rack number to your price tags on Zellr when making tags.

Use our convenient Zellr link to book a rack and price your garments. Print your product sheets off and  make sure to securely attach barcodes to all items before bringing them in store for set up or drop off. If you are unable to print your tags, The Little Hanger can print your tags off for you. We offer instore printing and laminating for $1.00 per page with minimum 24 hours notice. Please bear in mind the following information: If you need to reschedule your booking, you can easily do so on Zellr or by reaching out to us via email at info@thelittlehanger.com.au or on our phone number 0412323509. We will be happy to help you with the rebooking process.

Please be advised that rack rental fees are non-refundable.

​

In case you need to cancel your booking, please get in touch with the team at info@thelittlehanger.com.au, who will provide the necessary assistance.

​

Please ensure that payment is made to the specified account upon booking to confirm your reservation. Please be aware that your rack rental reservation will not be confirmed until payment is received by The Little Hanger. It is important to note that payment is not automatically processed upon booking; you are required to transfer the amount.

SMALL RACK: $60 per week +10% from your total sales. Holds 50 items.

LARGE RACK: $80 per week + 10% from your total sales. Holds 70 items.

Keep in mind that the rack's total capacity is determined by the types of garments you bring. You can easily add extra items at any point during your rental period as long as they have barcodes and are logged into your Zellr account.

​

Drop off option: The Little Hanger will tag your items and set up your rack at an additional fee to your rack rental booking. The product sheets must be priced and completed by the customer. The clothing and items must be dropped to The Little Hanger either in the afternoon before your rack rental start date or the morning of your rack rental start date. We will then tag all items and set up your rack.

Drop off SMALL RACK fee: $40

Drop off LARGE RACK fee: $60

 

To ensure smooth operations, please remember the following guidelines: 

​

- Price tags must be securely attached to all individual items using safety pins or string ties. This step is crucial for efficient scanning and sales transactions. We cannot sell an item without a tag. Should you wish to lower the price of everything on your rack, you can determine a discounted percentage and contact The Little Hanger. We then attach a sign with the discount percentage on your rack and update ZELLR with your discount percentage.

​

- If an item is found instore without a price tag, there is a specific basket where these items are put. Please make sure you check it and claim any lost property when you come in to pack up your rack at the end of your rack rental period. The Little Hanger will store these items for 1 (one) week. After this time, these items become the property of The Little Hanger.

​

- Only privately owned clothing, shoes, swaddles, blankets, carriers, bags and accessories are permitted for sale at the boutique. Selling stolen goods is strictly prohibited. 

​

- Our team reserves the right to remove any items deemed unsellable from your rack, including those that are damaged or soiled. 

​

- To comply with fire safety regulations, kindly keep all garments and shoes within the boundaries of your rack. 

If you misplace an item or encounter an unlabelled item, please don't hesitate to approach a team member for assistance.

Please remember that hangers are provided for your convenience, and we highly encourage the secure attachment of price tags to all items. Additionally, security tags are also on offer for you to attach to selected items if you wish.

By agreeing to our rental terms, you allow The Little Hanger to upload and showcase your items on our social media and in-store. 

​

Our team at The Little Hanger will organize, tidy, and manage items daily during your rental. On the last day of your rental period, we kindly request you to visit the store 1 (one) hour prior to close of business to pack up your rack. 

​

Alternatively, if you are unable to pack up your rack or if you would prefer us to handle this, a pack down and a storage fee of $25 per 24-hour period will apply, with a maximum storage duration of 5 (five) days after which any unclaimed items will become the property of The Little Hanger. 

​

If arrangements for item pickup are not made within 5 days after your rental period ends, any unsold items may be considered for donation. You are more than welcome to have the option to request that unsold items be donated to charity after the rental period. 

​

While we strive to keep all items on your rack, there may be occasional reorganization of items within the store. We recommend verifying that all items are accounted for before your final collection. Any items inadvertently misplaced will be available for collection for one week, after which any unclaimed items will become the property of The Little Hanger. 

​

As the rental period concludes, we can help boost sales by marking down your rack by a defined percentage. The amount of percentage is up to the seller; however, it needs to apply to the entire rack, not specific items. To do this please contact info@thelittlehanger.com.au

​

Once the rack rental period concludes you will receive the full amount of the items sold, minus a 10% commission, within 7 business days after the conclusion of your rental term. Please note that payments will exclusively be made to valid Australian bank accounts. We also want to emphasize that your payment will be processed only after the collection of your garments.

​

By renting a rack with The Little Hanger, you indicate your agreement to our terms and conditions.
